ITAIGUM is a company with many years
experience in the design and manufacture of machinery for the
rubber industry, and specially for the field of extrusion of
rubber, rubber compounds and silicones. Our structure
allows us to offer our clients products specially adapted to
the needs of their production process. For this purpose we
have a technical department with capacity for designing the
machinery which our clients need, our own workshops with all
the necessary equipment and a team of technicians for
after-sales service. Our technology includes vulcanisation
systems by microwave, Hot air, Infra-red, molten SALT baths,
plus a long list of machinery for the processing of rubber and

Microwave Ovens
Our Microwave Ovens have been specially designed for the
continuous heating of extruded rubber profiles and hoses.
They allow the vulcanisation of profiles of one only or various
components, with or without metallic inserts. Thanks to their
resonant cavities they also allow for the passage of several
profiles at the same time, in multi-extrusion.
The automated opening of the doors allows the easy passage of
those profiles which require it.
Microwave energy produced can be suited to the needs of the
customers' process, the machines being manufactured with outputs of
6 KW, 12 KW, 18 KW and 24 KW and with microwave generators of 1,2
KW, 2 KW, or 6 KW.

HOT AIR OVENS FOR CONTINUOUS
VULCANISATIONHot air ovens, constructed in modular form
and in sections of 2 meters, to make up required lengths from 6 to
20 meters.
Air heating may be by gas or by electric resistances.
Conveyor belts may be either from Teflon and Fibreglass, or
metallic.
High air speeds achieve good and fast heat interchanges.
Minimal down-time and maintenance cost.

MOLTEN SALT
BATHSBath of molten salt for the continuous vulcanisation
of rubber profiles and hoses. Molten salt baths incorporate
an entry section capable of being lowered pneumatically in order to
avoid initial contact and consequent marking of the extrudate.
Liquid and salts are heated by electrical resistances.A first
section of pre-vulcanisation by a "curtain" of molten salts can be
incorporated. Profiles or hoses are carried on metallic conveyor
belts.
The extrudate is cleaned at the exit of the baths by hot air
blowers.

INFRA-RED OVENS
Infra-red Ovens
for the reticulation of varnishes. Modular construction in
sections of two meters. The output of each 2 meter section is
adjustable between 10 º/o and 100 º/o. MIXED OVENS, HOT AIR PLUS
INFRA-RED For the rapid heating of profiles by hot air and
infra-red simultaneously. Modular construction in sections of two
meters. Air heated by electricity or gas, as required. The output
of each 2 meter section is adjustable between 10 º/o and 100
